John Sotiropoulos is an AI security practitioner who has safeguarded national-scale AI programmes and was highly commended for Security Professional of the Year at the 2025 UK IT Awards. He co-leads the OWASP Agentic Security Initiative, chairs the OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications, and serves on the OWASP GenAI Security Project Board, where he liaises with national cyber agencies, enterprises, vendors, and research and standards organisations. He is the author of the UK Government's official Implementation Guide to the AI Cyber Security Code of Practice, now adopted internationally as an ETSI standard, and of the Amazon-bestselling Adversarial AI book.
